KITCHEN OPTIONS was formed by Dan Soloway, blending two of his passions -- food and business.  Dan is a former options trader turned hospitality professional.  Food and business are in his blood; his great grandmother was a bagel maker in Russia, his grandfather was raised on a farm in Connecticut, and his father grew up across the street from a chicken farm in Brooklyn (yes, Brooklyn).  So, it’s no surprise that Dan has married his fascination with food to his business skills to create a consultancy known for product sourcing, cost savings, and general management abilities.

KITCHEN OPTIONS’ extensive network of purveyors and service providers has industry heavyweights referring to Dan as the “Human Rolodex.” Dan is the man who can locate, purchase, and deliver any product to you that can be found under the sun.

Dan has a farm-to-table food philosophy; an advocate of small farmers and local craft and artisan producers.  He is a member of Slow Foods and The Agricultural Center at Stone Barns, a supporter of New York’s Green Markets in NYC and Westchester County, and an adviser to start-up restaurants and culinary concepts. Dan also sits on the New York State Restaurant Association Board for both New York City and New York State.
